Questions we get asked

For anyone thinking about their first class at CrossFit Pukekohe.

What actually is CrossFit?
Constantly varied, functional training — gymnastics, weightlifting and cardio mixed together. Expect a bit of strength, a bit of skill and some conditioning, and expect it to look different every day. Variety is king.
How do I get started?
Book a free trial, come join in on a class, then decide what membership is right for your training plan.
Do I need to be fit already, or have done CrossFit before?
No. Workouts are adjusted to meet you where you are, and our coaches scale movements and weights to suit your body and your experience. Our members range from total beginners to competitive athletes, all training in the same room.
What's the cost and am I locked in?
The trial is free — no pressure, no fees, no obligations. For memberships, get in touch and we'll walk you through the options, including our Elite Membership, which adds Open Gym time so you can train independently on your own goals.
When do classes run?
We run a weekly schedule built to fit around work, school and family life, from the 5:15am crew through to afternoon and evening classes, plus CrossRocks on Saturday. Check the schedule page for this week's times, or ask us and we'll find a slot that works.
Can I bring my kids with me?
Yes, kids are welcome to come along.
